Just wanted to say Hi to everyone and say sorry I missed the 20 year reunion. I am currently In the Army going on 10 years now.I am stationed In Hawaii. I have been to Iraq twice now and I have been lucky not to be hurt. I have been Married for 9 years to my wife Paula and we have 2 wonderful kids, a daughter, Isabella who is 7, and our son Nikolas who is 2. Hope to hear from you all soon.

Hi Everyone. Wish I could have made it. I had to hang back on the farm and plant coffee trees. Hung said he would say aloha to everyone for me. I live on the Big Island of Hawaii, south kona, on a 4 acre coffee farm, 3 kids, Lily 12, Niyah 8, Shanti 3. Been here 10 years, before that, i was in P-town for about 8 years. I had this idea months ago to photograph all the Sheldon area schools. Unfortunately it’s taken me this long to get the project done. For those that haven’t been to Eugene in a while, I thought you’d enjoy a digital trip back to the schools of your youth. Those who aren’t able to attend the reunion can still see what the schools look like today. For those that aren’t aware – there have been some drastic changes to some of the schools. Washington Elementary was demolished in the summer of 2004 and I took some photos in June of 2004. The new school, Holt Elementary School, can be seen in the background. Willakenzie Elementary was also demolished and the site is now empty. Students from Willakenzie joined Washington students at the new Holt Elementary School. The old Cal Young was razed to make way for a new Cal Young. I believe that was in 2005. I wish I would have continued taking pictures of those schools before they were gone. If anyone has pictures of the old Willakenzie or the old Cal Young – it would be great if you could upload those to this collection. See you next week.

Hello! Thanks to Gina and Heather for keeping me informed and pushing me to check out the website. I have been married for 10 years and have two great little girls. Rory is three and Courtney is two. Jeff (my husband) and I traveled around S.E. Asia fro two years after graduating from OSU. We then were ski bumbs for a couple of years before I decided to go back to school. I am currently a trauma recovery nurse at Legacy Emanuel Hospital and love it. We live outside of Portland in Estacada and are enjoying the small town feel, yet we love having Portland so close. I look forward to catching up with everyone at the reunion. See you all Friday night.
